I didn't check index error before and after each observation. 10 index error checks were done when the Ebbco was first taken out of the box followed by 10 Sun observations and finally 10 more index error checks were done with the Ebbco at full ambient temperature. There just might be an expansion difference between the metal worm gear and the plastic arc. Hard to say for sure from the 2 sets of index error data.
