Last year I tried to find the manufacturer - East Berks Boat Company - and, even with an assist from George Huxtable who lives in England, was unable to do so. On the net I found an address and wrote to them, but the letter came back - "Addressee unknown." I used the EBBCO at sea for three years -1972 through1975. Then I bought a metal sextant. I really liked the EBBCO. It was cheap, it was rugged and it did the job. The only problem I had with it was that the shades went opaque after many years in storage, but I was able to find one last year on eBay which had good shades and now have a serviceable one. Also, the one from eBay gave me an additional Allen wrench for adjusting the mirrors. Other spare parts, too. I haven't seen one recently on eBay, but I haven't been actively looking either.
