Nice one Frank - beguilingly simple

Works beautifully tonight at 2100 UT

    from 55 04 N 001 27 W  Alphecca and Eltanin.

But ( for an Oldie ) lateral distances between stars both at altitudes above 45 degrees in the dark may require an escort to pick me up when I fall over backwards.

I'll think I'll stick to my speadsheet ( having gone to the bother of putting it together) and keep looking out for near vertical sets with a lower base such as the similar distance between Deneb and Eltanin tonight.

    One man's meat is .............

    Good navigating

    Michael Bradley
