Hello!
By coincidence this film ("The mercy") was aired on one of our channels a month or so ago...
My first impression - it was filmed some-when in 1970s, I could not believe it is from 2018.
I did not watch it throughout - I noticed it while flipping channels. Some dialogs (about problems building the boat) did sound familiar to what I've read in some book by Francis Charles Chichester, that's why I tried hard to "stay tuned". Finally, when it transpired that the main hero is NOT Francis Charles Chichester, - I felt huge relief and switched it off.
The photo: thank heavens the artist holds the sextant by its' handle - not some other way...
