You are seeing Galileo sats (EU) then? That's interesting! This blog article https://galileognss.eu/why-galileo-is-not-seen-in-united-states/ by the creator of GPSTest, who has some long experience with the issue, suggests that there's some sort of geofencing involved. The article was apparently written in Novermber, 2018, and other users report seeing Galileo satellites in the US now. I have seen no reports of Beidou contributions to fixes except maybe one on specialty hardware, possibly purchased outside the US. Given trade disputes and general sinophobia under the current US administration, Beidou may still be officially blocked here. Of course the signals themselves are not blocked. In fact, they are probably picked up and analyzed by most new smartphones already. But at some point in the software, their signals are ignored.
It would be great if users in other countries could report on this.
