Here's a second try I see that the Google Groups web interface page also does not like those attachments, and I can confirm that it's because of the file name. So no big deal, easy fix: don't use the pound sign, #, in attachment file names. Meanwhile, if anyone could NOT see the files and would like to, they are available on the main archive page here: www.fer3.com/arc . Tech trivia, for those who must know: The pound sign is used in web page URLs to indicate an anchor within a page. For example, an address like www.fer3.com/Page2.html#Section3 would lead you to a location called "Section3" in a file called "Page2.html" (this does not exist). This parsing of the address occurs very early in the process of reading a web address, so if there's a # sign in an address for some other reason, the web browser will never find out about it. That means that a file stored as www.fer3.com/map#2.gif (this also does not exist) will be interpreted, not as a request for the file "map#2.gif" but a request for the anchor location "#2.gif" in a file called "map". This will usually result in a file not found type of error. And there you have it... :-) -FER --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send email to NavList@fer3.com To , send email to NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
