    I also do not know it, but the problem with smog may be a different
    one. From my photos I noticed that smog tends to give a wrong
    impression of the apparent horizon. Depending on the illumination one
    may receive the impression to see the apparent horizon whereas in
    reality it is a sharp border line of the smog and the real horizon is
    hidden.
