I'm on my second Casio G Shock. The band went on the first one, after a couple of years, the watch always keept accurate time. The replacelemt does also.
Now and then, I go to Official Time, NIST/Naval Observatory dynamic time tick. With 2 people doing it, "on my mark the time is blah, blah, blah", the watch and computer ALWAYS agree, in-so-far as I can tell.
As I recall, I paid about $50 for the watch.
BTW, if one wants UT, one press of the lower button on the left side brings that up. There are other functions too, haven't investigated them.
