Greg, It's now over a year that I started to use this celestial navigation procedure for measuring the refraction near the horizon from sunset events. All these photos, I guess there are now probably around 800, have been recorded with the corresponding atmospheric conditions. The data still wait to be entered in a database for further analysis. This database still has to be set up. It's intended to make it publicly available via Internet in order that all those interested in it could also add their own observations. Anyone interested in this project is welcome.
