The file that's been downloaded here, picture11.png (317 kB) states itself to be an 822 x 823 picture, of 306 kB, so I think it has already gone through that expanding and smearing process, at your end before transmission (whether you intended it or not), and not at my end after reception. There seems to be nothing I can do to reverse that process. If there's something obvious that I'm failing to understand, please say so. By the way, I had written, in [6087]- "Let me hazard a guess that any breeze or air-movement on the day of Greg's observation was offshore. " However, Greg responded in [6088]- " The wind was onshore at 5 to 7 knots." Well, I was out in my prediction, on that one, by all of 180�, wasn't I?
