Why do I have to do something to shield myself from from large unwanted attachments (and in this case I really did enjoy them, although it did interfere with business at the time) when list etiquette regarding attachments has been established long ago? Given we had an area to post large files where members that had an interest could pick and chose what they downloaded before the "new" list. Frank has generously offered to archive large files so they are available. Until there is a list-member consensus to impose the wishes of the few on the many (which then by default becomes the wishes of the many so a moot point) and a formal change in policy, I for one would appreciate it if members adhere to SOP until further notified.
