I could only find one reference to that "SighTime" attachment in an old eBay listing. Maybe this is the very same instrument that your student purchased. This may not have turned up in your earlier searches, since it was spelled with an extra "t":
"Astra IIIB Sextant in like new condition.....new in 1994 it was never used. It comes with a SightTime model 911 digital watch that attaches to the sextant for accurate time shots."
