    Hello!

    I tried the same hack (of taking the interpolated HO to the time of the middle sight) with the set of 10-minute intervals from the aviator's almanach.

    Quite as expected - the fix was much better: it put me to well within the 5 miles of the actual position. I think its good/acceptable for a distressed mariner.

    This was all by Gery/Karl formulas for the stationary observer though. The next attempt I'll do is a simulation of observer's movement.
