Jared, 12-15 degrees is about right for compass deviation in ME, at least then. I can't remember whether it's west or east though. I don't believe the gps error was just lack of adjustment for compass deviation, either on my part or the installer. But it's been about 5-6 years ago. As I recall, the gps purported to read in true rather than magnetic, but it didn't read correctly when I set a course between two marks. I previously had noticed it seemed to be out of whack, so was deliberately testing it. Mentioned it to the charter broker when I returned. Fred
