Hello Greg,
The Mauritian Frog has been a bit busy on these days on its remote Island ...
Well ... thanks for sharing your magnificent Lunar with our NavList Community.
*******
I am getting results extremely close from Frank's ones :
With TT-UT = 67.9 s, and if we assume that both your position and UT are correct, then your observed sextant distance "should" have been : 9°04'144 while you did observe 9°04'1, hence a difference of 0'044, i.e. 2"64 a value very close from the one obtained by Frank which indicates a 4" Error in lunar (i.e. 1/30 multiplied by the quoted "Approximate Error in Longitude"). I am computing a Cleared lunar Distance of 8°22'206 which is the very same as Frank's (8°22'2)
If on the other hand we were to consider that both your Lunar Distance and your position are "perfect", then UT = 13h29m08.3s, with a Cleared Lunar Distance of 8°22'142 . It is interesting to notice that 7.7 seconds earlier the Lunar Distance was greater by 0'064 or 3.84", which is an indication that your lunar was observed under optimum closing rate conditions. In other words, you have been able to establish your Longitude with an accuracy better than 2' . A Real Dream !

You now belong by own Merit to the Ancient Order of the Master Lunarians (President Captain James Cook, Esq, RN), with a very warm welcome from Jeremy.

It would be interesting to share computations results on this same Lunar obtained by other members : Paul ? :-)
Meanwhile, Thanks again a sharing your Great Lunar with us, and
Standing by for your next one ...
Best Lunarian and "Morning Green Flasharian" Regards
Kermit
PS : No time for me to Xcheck everything, but I hope I have not done any typo or other error.
