Hello,
I have just been refurbishing my old Husun sextant getting it ready to hang on the wall. GPS took over a while ago.
The serial number is 49601 and I bought it as a brand new 3/Mate in 1964. The certificate is dated 2/11/1964 but as you are aware this is probably not the date of manufacture. I wish I knew when it was actually made. It's still in very good condition. Probably last used in ernest in 1978
