    Hi Renee, Congrats on your find they always peak my interest. Yes the
    precision on some of those is typically off but close enough for
    aviation. I have a couple and they are ok but my small Jeppesen CR-5
    is about equal to your precision but I would not sweat it. As to the
    wind side there should be 4 screws that may possibly alleviate some of
    the imprecision. Keep us posted and have fun!
