If you are using any of the Texas Instruments TI-83 or TI-84 calculators when reducing your sights, you can enter the points and fit a polynomial (2nd, 3rd or 4th degree) and graph it. It is also possible, using the trace function, to pick any point along that curve.
I realize this is only free-ware if you already own the calculator, but the Texas Instruments TI-36x Pro, which costs about 18$, will also do linear, quadratic and cubic regression. No graphing function, so the trace option is out.
I am sure other calculators can do similar things, I am only familiar with the TI's because that is all we use in my school.
