When it comes to modern metal sextants what is best is subjective and is more a matter of individual ergonomics and preferred visuals. Getting better than ± 0.2' moa precision out of any sextant is asking a lot even though many micrometer drums read to 0.1' moa.

You got me interested now... That shop on the Hamble still has them - I just
checked their website. There is also a Latvian eBay source which has many of
them. How can I find Bill Morris' blog? I would like to read his findings.
