    In consideration that Noonan and aircraft were lost on that date, it is indeed a miracle that you have access to the navigator's log and work books, such that you can determine the method used.  Astonishing! 

    Care to try again?  Show us in an existing Noonan Log or Work book wherein he demonstrably uses this method.
