Hi George Interesting reading. A question about the part where the observer is advised to "Search firstly from the astronomical tables the true motion of the Moon". From what astronomical table would that be? Sure, tables accurate enough to use were two centuries away, but these directions are concise enough to firmly imply the existence of a contemporary table to Cosmographia.
