    Hi Tracy

I missed the instructions my first go around.  Thanks for including them.

After examining problem A in the instructions and your images, I believe we can at last identify the purpose of the green segment overlay.  This had been the subject of some conversation.  The green is to identify the optimal stars to be used by the astrotrackers on the GAM-77 missile.  Areas in clear, along the heading are visible to both trackers, light green, one or the other trackers.  Dark green, star not visible to either tracker.

Since I parked my B52 and retired all my GAM-77 missiles in 1975 /s, the green areas are now just a curiosity.  The green area gives some clues as to how the astrotracker worked.

    Hi Brad,

The instructions should be there as a pdf to download in between the Buff and first CPU pictures. If you'd like me to post pictures of the instructions let me know .
