    I'm not so sure that's the case and, in fact, that's precisely the
    reason for raising the question.  I've seen a few people posting about
    using their own "homebrewed" tables and I'm asking how those tables
    are verified.  Certainly one "quick and dirty" approach is to compare
    results from different tables but it's not unknown for even the pros
    to make mistakes on occasion.  So, once again, I'll ask those who've
    either re-computed their own tables or otherwise adopted techniques
    using tables outside of the HO "family", how do you verify your
    tables?
