The Complete Celestial Solution Using HO 229

    Greg

Here, finally, is the Appendix from Dutton's Navigation and Piloting, twelfth edition, 1972. As is usual, its not just the book, my copy has been signed by G.D. Dunlap, the editor of Dutton's!

I like the presentation of the material. Not only is the problem stated, but a step by step solution is also presented with all the forms you need. In addition, the relevant pages from the Nautical Almanac and HO229 are included. It really is a complete package!

This was designed for midshipmen at the Academy and not just for 1972.

Since the problems will probably be used for the next few years, I think it mighty important that you follow the same format in presentation. But hey, that's just me.

    Enjoy

    Brad
