How did you come up 8h14m34s for sunrise? From the almanach, I get 8h08m00s for latitude N 48 17.5. Your value for sunrise works perfectly. I'm just wondering how to get to that value from the Almanach.
From the almanach:
N50 = 03 50 (07 50)
N48 17.5 = 04 08 (08 08)
N45 = 04 13 (08 13)
