    Compass Adjustment

Is anyone aware of any formal courses (preferably in Canada) that one can take in order to learn how to adjust a compass using, among other tools, corrector magnets?  Before you mention manuals, I have lots. I am looking for more of a hands-on course where one is taught the rudiments, and then turned loose in a room or a ship full of maladjusted compasses -- under the watchful eye of a sage instructor -- to practice what one has been taught. Like astro-nav, I suspect that this too, is becoming a dying art.
