Got this snap last night just above the neighbors roof top. Used a vintage Pentax 200mm lens on a DSLR at f4, ISO 800, 8 seconds open shutter. You can see the begining of star trails if you look close. Looks good to me through 7x50mm binoculars. Not so good with the naked eye, I have to look away slightly to glimps a hint of the comet trail.
