Byron: I have read a few problem in the class rooms of those that teach Navigation. I have had a few in my own class. The one that i remenber as the best to write about is in a Naval OCS school. All the strudents were college graduates. I was teaching tides and how the Sun & Moon causes the tide. One Officer could not understand the Moon being in the sky during the day light hours." the sun in the morning and the Moon at night. The Class I am teaching now, I had to go over the concept of the Earth system of Latitude and Longitude, as well as 24 hour day. I did a video on "you tube" under "navtec333" explaining Earth coordinate system LAT. LONG. If interested let me know now to improve any of my videos.
