I'm a US Power Squadron member. When I last taught celestial two years ago I noticed that our text only mentioned short-wave time sources (WWV and CHU for those of us here in North America). I decided to look for alternatives that would save my students the price of a shortwave receiver and came up with a number of alternatives, including the time display on one's cell phone. I wrote an article that was published in USPS's magazine, Ensign, last November. If anyone is interested in a copy, pls contact me off-list and I'd be glad to email you one. Lu Abel
