    Thanks a lot for all the detailed posts that were most helpful.
    I followed with much attention all the trails on this topic. I even aquired a Polhemus computer to work the exemple on the computer.
    But I still have to practice drills on the computer to be profient enough to try the method in a light airplane on a cross country flight with some chances of success.

    I did not thanked you earlier because I was out on holydays the last couple of weeks or so.
