    The CG uses 1981 documents; Bowditch V2, Almanac, Tide and Current Tables for exams.
    The 1981 Bowditch has examples using logarithms for the calculations, but the equations are the same as current editions, just harder to dig out of the obfuscation.
    But they do allow calculators (non-progammable), and will provide TI 30's.
    You must provide your own plotting tools, and a Starfinder, with instructions.

    I remember taking the FAA navigators written exam about 1978 and the questions had not been updated so some of the questions directed the use of some charts from a series that had not been published for several years!
