I joined a local stronomy club on the chance that someone there might have and interest in celestial navigation. Though I have found only one such kindred spirit,I did do two presentations for the group that were well received. My talks were on the history of celecestial navigationand another on the cel-nav process. The group also has star parties where I have st up my artificial horizon for demonstrations and talks with the public. An opportunity to talk about cel-nav on a local news spot also ppresented itself. In 2014 they will have an "astronomy day" where I will once again demo cel-nav. Outreach like this might also be appreciated where you live.
Regards, Randy
