Just for fun...
In the original "Lord of the Rings" movie, "The Fellowship of the Ring", there's an image that includes substantial navigational information allowing us to determine the location of "Middle Earth". See the Moon in this screen cap from the movie... Given that appearance of the Moon's face and an angular size of perhaps five degrees, where would the observer have to be located??
