Dear Bill,
I am not associated with Pennywise in any way except as you are, i.e. as a dissatisfied customer. I received two watches, one did not work. I reported this to Pennywise and they emailed me a prepaid and preaddressed mailing label. The addressee on the label was William Burchell. I assumed that was someone associated with Pennywise. I repacked the nonfunctioning watch, attached the prepared mailing label and dropped the envelope in the mail. Are you William Burchell? If so, I cannot understand what Pennywise is up to. Recirculating non-functioning merchandise in this way is not a pathway to success. I am very upset to have been used in this way. I thought I was returning the watch to them.

It looks as if Pennywise.biz sold these Casio Diver watches without
disclosing that they are non-refurbished returns and seconds with no
warranty or instructions. Bad policy I think.
My charge account was debited 7/28/2012. I finally received a watch July 9 with shipping envelope dated July 2 and downloaded the model # 2701 manual from Casio's site:
http://world.casio.com/wat/download/en/manual/
The watch was not functional as the "A" button did not work; therefore mode, time, date etc. cannot be set.
This is where it gets interesting...
* There are two postings on the list from Patrick Goold, one with a manual attached and the first stating he too received two watches; no box, no instructions....
* The shipping name/address on my watch envelope is:
Patrick Goold
4614 Westmoreland Terrace
Portsmouth, Virginia 23707
How is Patric Goold, associate professor of philosophy at Virginia Wesleyan College related to Pennywise, if at all? Can Patrick or anyone else clear up my confusion?
