Jim, I can't help sort out the Java problem, it is definitely over my head. I can only confirm that I am running the program successfully on two different PC's, both running Windows XP Home edition. I did find the Sun sight somewhat confusing and at first wondered if I had gotten the correct Java environment, perhaps that is the confusion. Hope you can sort it out, it is a neat little package when you get it working. I downloaded the correct Sun JRE version and installed it using the Windows Installer kernel. The installation failed once, and then ran fine second time. Window's logs confirm the successful installation. I unzipped Olivier's package into a custom D: drive directory and ran celest.bat. The DOS window appears. When I type J/Enter, I get this error message: "'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file". Windows XP Home Fast machine, lots of RAM I tried googling around about installing the Java environment, and I tried searching through windows on my machine to see if the Java environment is mentioned anywhere, but came up dry. Internet Explorer's java security settings are on "high", but I can't see that affecting a java program running on my machine. Thoughts, anyone? Thanks.
