The spare piece F is clearly an eyepiece. I have confirmed that one eyepiece magnifies and inverts (positive?) and the other reduces size and is erect ( negative?). The explanation that the tube for the Galilean scope is missing makes sense.
The tube C has two lenses.
In five or six days when the cloud clears I will go outside and see if I can focus the Keplerian on the sun.
