Should be some way to avoid bidding against other list members!

Perhaps we should club together, each agreeing to some equal maximum contribution, and forwarding the fix finder every two weeks to the next person.  When all have done and don't want any second (or third rounds) we could donate to Mystic Seaport or sell to highest NAVLIST bidder or highest of original club?

 

ex. 10 members @ $50 each would make our max bid $500.  last person would have to wait almost 5 months for their turn (or we could gather at a few central locations (west coast, east coast, europe) to view.
