    Dear Ron,

Assuming that your published heights refer to geocentric heights - or to topocentric heights with all height corrections made (no appreciable parallax whatsoever here) - then get the following results :

With TT-UT = 68.2 seconds of time , - just for highly interested people, although this data is [almost] irrelevant here :-)  :

    - 3 BODY FIX : N48°33'9 W122°34'6 with a LOP dispersion of 6.1 NM, which actually is not outstanding . LOP dispersion should remain below 2 or 3 NM for [ordinary] good observations while a LOP dispersion of 0 NM defines a pinpoint fix. And :

    - 2 BODY FIX : by lack of further information, either N48°04'9 W123°52'5 or S05°47'2 W058°28'4

My Calculator thanks you very much for this opportunity to crunch numbers again.

And what are your solutions Andrés Ruiz, and Peter Hakel ???

Best Regards to all, and thanks again to you, Ron

    Kermit
