    Horizon to upper limb measures 2683 pixels
    Minutes of arc per pixel is .37531 (see graph)
    2683 x .37531 = 1007.0' = 16* 47.0'

    Azimuth 266.4*
    Intercept 0.1' away

    Camera settings: ISO 400, F 8, 1/750s, infinite focus

    The solar film is looking very good in trials.

    @ Jeremy-you really have to try this technique. I'll even cut some film for you. Work off my graph and make up a correction table to use with your lens.
