Thank you, I like your idea of keeping all the calculations in minutes. It makes things much easier to do on a slide rule :)
My my interest in navigation sprouted from my interest in slide rules - it was the discusions about the Bygrave that brought me here. I find the 'no-electronics' methods facinating, from short tables to long term almanacs to the many mechanical and graphic methods that people have come up with over the years. Exploring those and referbishing some old instruments has been a great hobby to unexpectedly fall in to.
