Hello All
Just a brief introduction. I am Andy a serving Merchant Marine rating from England. I am about two months away from completing my Officer of the Watch studies and currently working in the North sea. I have a question that someone may be able to help with. I have recently acquired a C.Plath sextant that needs a replacement part. I am not even sure if it is possible to get the part but any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated. If anyone gas any information on the model of sextant and the age that would also be good. I have attached a picture of the damaged area which I believe is called the micrometer drum....Many Thanks...Andy....
Correction I have tried to attach pictures but it has just come back with....File attachments allowed from established members only...just have to wait and be established :)
