I'd agree, about $2,000. C. Plath's aren't made any more, so you'd have to buy used. To get the nearest equivelent new it would be a Cassen's and Plath and they run around $2,000.
The old timers I talk to brag about buying them in the 60's and 70's in various ports for around $700-800. They are classics and in demand if you ever wish to sell it.
