Alan,
I couldn't find the M.Low Mk 3 listing on Ebay. They are a nice variant of the C.Plath. The grip is perfect and the sextant sits on the nav table so that a one handed pick-up can be made. C.Plath parts are interchangeable. A neat addition to the sextant collection if you can find one.

As memory and some reading serve, the M. Low company were located in New York City, Brooklyn I think, and were reputed to make quite good Mark 3 sextants for the Navy.
