How incredibly timely!! I have been slugging away here working out exactly how dates change around the world over a 24 hour period, and poof, this email pops up with a manual (celnav.pdf) that contains the Coast Guard's time/date card (Figure 2-4) that I had read about but could not locate. I have been trying to reproduce just that table all afternoon from first principles. Great list, this. Christmas is coming tonight here in ZD +4 (and is already here at ZD's -4 to -12, according to that table). Let's drop all that unfortunate stuff of the past few days and move on. We all learned something, in spite of our gray hairs. Enjoy tonight's magic, everyone.
