I saw one I rather liked around 1950. At the time I didn't know my firearms very well, but I was impressed by the way one man could essentially prevent repairs and tie up a whole ship. Was it Lee Enfield vs. Mauser? Also, when I thought about the movie, I had mentally placed the action in the Falklands; maybe I didn't even know about the Galapagos back then.
