On a point of fact: doesn't retirement offer new vistas of opportunity to
obsess on ones ones altars of lustful worship?
and this being the case - is this not an attractively economical
alternative to cashing in the annuity and making
excessive hay while the Sun shines?

Asked in humble recognition of both impending senility and the increasing
awareness of the practical difficulties of self-control.....
