Greg - I've been wanting to try one of these for some time. Are there any detailed instructions around? Is there a mail-order source for the materials? (Edmund Scientific, perhaps?) Thanks. -Hewitt On 6/18/09, Greg Rudzinskiwrote: > The Butterfly Bris is a double simplified fixed angle whole horizon mini sextant that provides two bright primary sun images and two dim secondary sun images. A pair of Butterflies can fit in a 35mm film case just as the original Bris can. I have selected a double waterproof 35mm film case which holds the pair of Butterflies in one side and a folded 8"x11" photocopy of the Pub.249 sun perpetual almanac and sight reduction formulas in the other side. > > > > > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Navigation List archive: www.fer3.com/arc To post, email NavList@fer3.com To , email NavList-@fer3.com -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
