I am wearing the watch constantly, except in the shower. I must admit, I'm kind of rough on watches. I tend to bang them around a bit, especially at work. This one already has the scuffs to prove it. Had I paid the full MSRP, I would certainly be more gentle with it.

Yes, pehaps I "jinxed" myself in my first post about the watch when I said,
In lieu of having a clock or watch with a known rate of error, I'd like to try a watch that is claimed to be accurate to within ten seconds per year.
Based on others' experiences, I expected the watch to vary in its rate, but not to exceed +/-10 seconds/year. Seems I ended up with the former, instead. Which, as you say,
...makes the watch a very good one to use for navigation...
All things considered, I think I got a pretty good deal on what amounts to a "wrist chronometer". :)
