Sure. Celestair catalog is my favorite reading:-)
Their prices are 900, 750 and 650 for the items
that are sold on e-bay for under 100 every week.

I understand, of course that e-bay items are
probably not working while Celestaire ones are not
only working but also come with a warranty.

There is one account on the Internet of the guy who
fixed an e-bay bubble sextant, MkIXB, following the advises
he received on this list (from Robert Eno). I wonder if
he or anyone else on this list has any experience with e-bay
bubble sextants, and can recommend what to look for.
(What is easier to fix
and what is more likely to be in working
condition).

Yes, I am aware of this. Apparently few minutes is the
best one can hope for. For high accuracy I am looking
for something else, separately.

Still I prefer a real thing, with metal and glass:-)
(3' to 5' with a cardboard sextant seems very
good, of course:-)
