Bruce, You have to make a physical correction with the Celesticomp V. You must apply the semi-diameter correction to the intercept. The maker of the unit suggested (when I posed this question to him in a letter several years ago) that the sights be taken as if they were lower limb sights. The semi diameter would subsequently be subtracted from the intercept. As for night vision scopes with a nautical sextant, I believe Ken Gebhart's Celestaire was offering these units at one time. I haven't got one of his catalogues handy so I cannot tell you if this is still the case. Ken will perhaps wade in at this point.
